No new product development effort is complete without the establishment of an effective and reliable manufacturing procedure.  Within Technology Development, a group of chemical engineers works closely with other scientists throughout the product development process to design and test the most appropriate and cost effective manufacturing process for the new chemistry.  This typically involves bench top reaction and kinetics studies using process simulation tools, leading to pilot plant scale up and production plant trials.
